Il programma accede alla tua casella Gmail in sola lettura tramite IMAP: non può cancellare, spostare o modificare alcun messaggio. Le credenziali (indirizzo email e App Password) vengono salvate localmente sul tuo PC, nella cartella AppData, in forma cifrata. Nessun dato viene inviato a server esterni, a Globosoft o a terze parti. Il programma funziona interamente sul tuo computer, senza alcuna registrazione online obbligatoria.

Guida all’utilizzo

Segui questi passaggi per iniziare ad estrarre dati dalla tua casella Gmail in pochi minuti.

Installa il programma

Scarica e installa il file GmailDataExtractor.exe. Al primo avvio vedrai la schermata principale del programma.

Aggiungi il tuo account Gmail

Clicca su ADD/MANAGE GMAIL ACCOUNT in alto a destra e inserisci il tuo indirizzo Gmail nella finestra che si apre. Il software accede ai dati in sola lettura: nessun rischio di perdita o modifica delle email.

Seleziona IMAP e conferma il server

Clicca Next per selezionare il tipo IMAP (consigliato) e poi di nuovo Next: i dati del Mail Server Gmail vengono precompilati automaticamente.

Inserisci email e App Password

In questo step dovrai inserire il tuo indirizzo Gmail e la App Password — non la password normale di Gmail, ma una password dedicata per le applicazioni di terze parti.

⚠ Come ottenere l’App Password?

Vai su myaccount.google.com/apppasswords, accedi con il tuo account Google e genera una nuova App Password. Assicurati di avere la verifica in 2 passaggi attiva sul tuo account Google.

Testa la connessione e aggiungi l’account

Premi TEST CONNECTION per verificare che tutto funzioni. Se la connessione ha esito positivo, clicca su ADD per salvare l’account nel programma.

Seleziona l’account e scegli una cartella

Dalla schermata principale vai su ADD GMAIL ACCOUNTS → ACCOUNTS e seleziona l’account appena creato. Dopo qualche secondo appariranno le cartelle del tuo Gmail sulla sinistra. Clicca su una cartella (es. INBOX) e attendi il caricamento.

Configura i filtri ed estrai i dati

Premi EXTRACT DATA per aprire la finestra di configurazione. In alto trovi i filtri per il periodo di ricezione; a destra selezioni cosa estrarre (mittente, destinatario, oggetto, corpo, allegati…). Imposta il file CSV di destinazione e la cartella per gli allegati, poi premi di nuovo EXTRACT DATA.

Dopo qualche secondo (o minuto, a seconda del numero di email selezionate) troverai sul desktop il file CSV con tutti i dati estratti e una cartella con gli allegati già organizzati per data di ricezione.

Your data stays on your computer

The program connects to your Gmail inbox in read-only mode via IMAP: it cannot delete, move or modify any message. Your credentials (email address and App Password) are stored locally on your PC, inside the AppData folder, in encrypted form. No data is ever sent to external servers, to Globosoft, or to any third party. The software runs entirely on your computer with no mandatory online registration.

Step-by-step guide

Follow these steps to start extracting data from your Gmail inbox in just a few minutes.

Install the program

Download and install GmailDataExtractor.exe. On first launch you will see the main program window.

Add your Gmail account

Click ADD/MANAGE GMAIL ACCOUNT in the top-right corner and enter your Gmail address in the window that opens. The software accesses your data in read-only mode — there is no risk of losing or modifying any emails.

Select IMAP and confirm the server

Click Next to select the IMAP protocol (recommended), then click Next again — the Gmail mail server settings are filled in automatically.

Enter your email and App Password

Enter your Gmail address and your App Password — not your regular Gmail password, but a dedicated password for third-party applications.

⚠ How to get an App Password

Go to myaccount.google.com/apppasswords, sign in with your Google account and generate a new App Password. Make sure 2-Step Verification is enabled on your Google account first.

Test the connection and add the account

Click TEST CONNECTION to verify that everything works. If the connection is successful, click ADD to save the account in the program.

Select the account and choose a folder

From the main screen go to ADD GMAIL ACCOUNTS → ACCOUNTS and select the account you just created. After a few seconds your Gmail folders will appear on the left. Click a folder (e.g. INBOX) and wait for it to load.

Set filters and extract your data

Click EXTRACT DATA to open the configuration window. At the top you will find date-range filters; on the right you can choose what to extract (sender, recipient, subject, body, attachments…). Set the destination CSV file and the attachments folder, then click EXTRACT DATA again.

After a few seconds (or minutes, depending on the number of emails selected) you will find the CSV file with all the extracted data on your desktop, along with a folder containing the attachments already organised by date received.
